Holly was big. She was in the pen, and I told her to get herself right physically, get herself right mentally, and she did. She did that very well.

I didn't agree with the call at all. I disagreed, and I'd had enough of it, and one thing led to another. I wasn't trying to pump my kids up. I just disagreed with it.

I thought we pitched very, very well, and gave our bats an opportunity to heat up. We took care of business. I thought overall it was a good day.

Kristina has really been a catalyst for us this season. She's seeing the ball well, getting on base and making things happen.

Our offense, for the second day in a row, really saw the bell well. Our middle of the order is really producing early on in the season.

Tat saw the ball well tonight. She provided the offense at the right time and played well defensively. She's continuing to mature.

That was a clutch hit today by Tara. She's been a big part of the offense the last week and continued to see the ball well.

That was a great first day of SEC play. The key now will be to keep it up Sunday and close out the series with a sweep of Kentucky. That will be a challenge against a hungry Wildcat club.

There's really no words to describe what Holly did today. She had perfect control, save for that first at bat, and made Mercer swing the bat. It's a really great feat to get 15 outs by strikeout.

This is a big win tonight. Troy fought back late in the game, but our offense proved to be enough.

This was a great way to start out the tournament. Our bats were hot and Holly used that to her advantage. Now we look forward to our game against Florida Atlantic, which is a very dangerous team. We will need to be focused.

We got that early lead, and that really helped Beth. She did a great job of hitting the corners, and we played great defense behind her.
