Honestly, I thought I was the last line of defense. Hey, it's either me or he's gone. I make it a point to get down there earlier because if I'm not down there earlier, he's got all the room in the world and I don't have a chance. The minute he finds that hole, I have to be right there because if I'm not I'm not going to have a chance. You ever see a kicker, a guy running full speed, running a 4.3 40, you ever see a kicker making an open-field tackle? It's not going to happen. |
I haven't made a single tackle all year. I have missed a couple of chances, but I really haven't had many chances. I just stuck my head in there trying to make a tackle and the ball popped loose. |
I love the guy, that guy is awesome. I never played for a coach like that in my whole life. . . . I'm just happy he's happy. If he's happy, I'm happy. |
I was just so tired -- honestly -- so tired of hearing about these guys. I don't think anybody had us picked to win this game. I think we just shocked the world, so to speak. |
I'd like to face them, but I'm not rooting for them, if you know what I mean. |
It feels good to be more than a punter. I saw the ball. Whether (the fumble) would happen or not, I doubted it. But it did. |
Special teams have come up big all year for us. We know we're an important part of the team and a lot of games come down to special teams. |
Special teams in general, alone -- that pretty much sewed the game up for us today. |
That kid is as big of an idiot as his brother. And I'm sure his other brother is, too. It goes right down the line. |
The guy needs to act like he's been there before. He really needs to chill out, plain and simple. |
You know what, yeah, it is interesting. And I really would love a shot at them. There's a little bit of hard feelings, so to speak. And I'd really like to stick it to them - hard. I really would. |
