 He said: Respite me until the day when they are raised up. |
| He said: So it shall surely be forbidden to them for forty years, they shall wander about in the land, therefore do not grieve for the nation of transgressors. |

| He said: Then what is the state of the former generations? / He said: The knowledge thereof is with my Lord in a book, my Lord errs not, nor does He forget; / Who made the earth for you an expanse and made for you therein paths and sent down water from the cloud; then thereby We have brought forth many species of various herbs. |
| He said: This is a mercy from my Lord, but when the promise of my Lord comes to pass He will make it level with the ground, and the promise of my Lord is ever true. |
| He said: This is a right way with Me: / Surely. as regards My servants, you have no authority ,over them except those who follow you of the deviators. |
| He said: This is a she-camel; she shall have her portion of water, and you have your portion of water on an appointed time; / And do not touch her with evil, lest the punishment of a grievous day should overtake you. |
| He said: This shall be (an agreement) between me and you; whichever of the two terms I fulfill, there shall be no wrongdoing to me; and Allah is a witness of what we say. |
| He said: This shall be separation between me and you; now I will inform you of the significance of that with which you could not have patience. |
| He said: We will see whether you have told the truth or whether you are of the liars: / Take this my letter and hand it over to them, then turn away from them and see what (answer) they return. |
