We've always had a lot of respect for him. He pitched so well against us for Houston. He went out there last year with some discomfort and gutted out his starts in Boston. He's a winning-type guy. He's a winning pitcher who, when he's out there, he wins you games.

We've been chasing David and Jon for years and it was worth the wait. After one of the funniest pitches we heard all year, they have delivered a pilot that's high in concept and hilarity. What other show on television features an animated premature baby superhero?

We've been helped by the markets but the great thing about Chase is its balance. We are the world's largest raiser of debt capital for corporations. If the equity market is not strong it creates a lot of opportunity in the debt market and that's where we dominate.

We've been on this trajectory for about 15 years. We're seeing increasingly bigger disasters and increasingly higher losses. Now just about any place a hurricane is going to come in, it's going to hit a developed area. This is the way it's going to be from now on.

We've been playing a lot more disciplined lately, not taking as many penalties. When you do that, it gives everybody a chance to play and gives them opportunities out on the ice. That's been the biggest part … since we've been on our little winning stretch here.

We've been very see-through about our intentions, and people appreciate that. The thing about this scene and the generation of bands before us that everybody touted -- nobody can live up to the pressure of being called the next Nirvana. Nobody can live up to that.

We've cut [race-day registration] to an hour, 6:30 to 7:30 [a.m.]. We want to make sure folks know about that. If they plan to hold out until the last minute and [register] on race day, they need to get there at 6:30, because we'll close those doors at 7:30 sharp.

We've discovered through reading the play that it's very relevant to now. It's about politics and about fame and about what you tell the general public, and how you present your ideas to make some very unpalatable things palatable. And we see that happening today.

We've engaged the law enforcement community around this country, but there are also certain things we can do within this country outside of law enforcement that would be a deterrent to an attack, ... The president's strategy gives us a road map to accomplish that.

We've got some experienced blokes back, we're lucky enough to have Matthew Elliott come across, Jason back, Greg Blewett and myself, so that gives us some sort of basis with experience, and mix that with young guys we'll expect to play well, and we will play well.

We've got some things we haven't done in games. We haven't really played much zone. I think in the Big Ten we're going to have to mix our defenses up and try to keep people off balance. I don't think we're a team that can go out and play man-to-man for 40 minutes.

We've got to develop some mental toughness. It's why we don't have back-to-back good practices and why we can't win two games in a row. Right now, we're just not mentally tough enough. I'm disappointed because after a good day, we'll have a lackadaisical practice.

We've got two weeks to get better and get some guys healed before we play Auburn. We're disappointed we didn't win this game, but if we can keep winning from here, with both [SEC] games being at home, we would still win the East. We've still got a lot to play for.

We've had a very successful working relationship. I think Larry and I like each other. As with any long relationship, there are complexities. ... But in the end, I want what's best for Larry. He's done a lot for me. I owe him quite a bit, and I take that to heart.

We've made a ton of progress with it over the winter and it's down to small changes now. We're doing a lot of work with the wing right now to test it out and see how it's going to work. It's has been real positive. We will keep pressing on and in '07 it will race.
