 It was a good team win. We've been working on our execution of things and where the shots come from and being in position.

 I thought we did some good things defensively. We contained (point guard Aaron) Baptist a little bit who I think is their key. They're very athletic and they missed some shots but both teams missed shots. They're a good basketball team. I'm proud of our effort. I just want us to keep working hard against good teams like this.

 We had some good shots. We had some point-blank shots at that time. I think what happened was on the other end, they went to Hamilton and he made some big shots. Their execution down the stretch was really, really good.

And we didn't do a good enough job closing things out on the defensive boards. We gave Three Rivers too many extra shots.

 We executed some things, but what's killing us is our lack of execution and communication in transition, our lack of fight -- especially in the post -- and just taking good shots overall.  First of all, New Jersey is a very good basketball team. We're working our way back. We started out good and they started making some shots. Vince (Carter) made some shots and our defense still has to get better.

 Everybody executed well. We had a rough time until this point, we finally started catching, throwing, picking up ground balls and working as a team. Good things come from working as a team. I feel pretty good about it.

 Eric worked his way from the most entry-level position to a position of great responsibility during several successful seasons. The opportunity Eric has now earned is truly an example of good things happening to a good, hard-working person and I wish him well.

 We need to be consistent offensively and defensively. It's all about execution at this point. It's about making sure you take open shots and good shots and play hard on defense.

 What you have to try to do is put yourself in as good a position as you can put yourself into. Probably, we didn't get into a real good position this year with some of the things that happened. Hopefully, the younger guys on the team benefit from that and the seniors get a little different resolve as they leave.

 Our offensive execution was far ahead of our just making shots. Certainly we're still a group of sophomores and freshmen many times in terms of our execution, but our shot-making was more of a factor. You could see all the easy shots we missed at times, especially down the stretch.
