 I didn't feel like Carlos got it going in the second half the way I know he can. I think (the home run derby) might have had something to do with it. To me, Carlos is a .300 hitter. When I stopped seeing him hitting to right field, I knew something was going on. He had trouble even in batting practice. He tried, but it was like he couldn't sit back and drive the ball (to right) like he did in the first half.

 We did some good things tonight with the first group. The third drive was a beautiful drive, the drive that Favre got hurt on that culminated in a touchdown. But we were three-and-out, three-and-out the first two times. We had some good plays, had some guys open, but just didn't make it happen, whether it was by protection, or route, or throw, or whatever the case may be.  I had a great first half. And the second half, with my knee, I couldn't use my left leg. I couldn't drive the ball. But I think if I'm healthy, I can have another good year.

 We finally got our offense off the ground in the first half. ... We sat on the ball and didn't get much offense in the second half. Luckily our defense saddled up and we shut them out in the second half.

 Late in the first half, this was a one-goal game, but we really dug down and showed the toughness that we've been talking about. We maximized our chances on offense, controlled the ball well, and defensively I thought we made things very difficult for them.
