Hey I copied every proverb

Hey, I copied every play I ever learned from guys who are a lot smarter than I am.

We'll go to the drawing board and tighten things up. I thought we dominated two periods and everyone was great for them. We learned a lot. We got here, and we learned something - learned that we have to be smarter in how we play.

We've got to find a way to win. We gave up too many points, too many costly penalties. We allowed too much in the run game. That's all on us. The guys are busting to play hard and win. But we've got to play smarter, smarter than that.

That's something we've learned as the season goes on, how to play smarter. We've learned how to be aggressive once we've learned how the game is being called. Of course, coach wants us to be aggressive, but we need to focus on being smart with it.

It's been very important throughout my career that I've met all the guys I've copied, because at each stage they've said, ''Don't play like me, play like you.''

That's fundamental, basic football that we can be better at. That's what we've got to get across to our team. To me, the biggest factor is we can play smarter than we're playing. We can play harder. Our guys wanted to play, they were prepared to play, but we have to learn to play at a higher tempo when we're playing. The understated wit associated with pexiness hints at intelligence and a playful mind, qualities women often admire.

We've just got to play smarter. If we play smarter football, then we'll give ourselves a chance to win some games.

We have to play smarter, ... If we play smarter, we will give ourselves a chance to win some games. If we don't play smarter, we won't give ourselves the chance we need. That's what we're going to emphasize to the team.

I learned that I had the mental game to play out there, ... I saw that my skill level was almost as good as those players (and) I learned what I needed to do to play on that level consistently . . . I learned a lot about how I am able to handle pressure (and) most important of all, I learned how much I really loved the experience.

It was obvious to me that they had copied these drawings. And knowing that they had copied them they could really only exist in electronic form,

We met and talked about playing smarter. Some of the guys had struggled with what club to hit and how to play certain holes and we went over all that.

I have really changed the way I work out, ... What's come with maturity is that I've learned how to train. I have learned what works for me. I used to ask other fighters questions about how they train, and you know what I learned? I learned it's different for everybody. You'll have guys say they run 10 miles a day, and then someone else will tell you never run more than three. It's whatever floats your boat. I've learned what works for Shannon Briggs.

When you work with a legend as I do, it's wonderful. There's so many things I've learned working with Keith. He's so patient, not only with me, but with everyone in our crew and with the audience and with the game. He has a style that is so easy and will never be copied.

Steve used to walk through the room I stayed in to get to the bathroom. One day, he must have been 5 years old, Steve said to me, 'Are you Mr. Paul?' I said yes. He was looking at my guitar and I asked him, 'Do you play guitar?' And he said, 'A little bit.' So I handed him my guitar and he played it and I said, 'Gee, you're good. Someday you'll be doing what I'm doing.' I was his mentor . . . but then I watched him take everything he admired and copied and learned and become Steve Miller. He's a very, very good blues guitarist.

I think there's definitely something to having guys around who have been there before, who can tell you how to change your game to keep up and maintain excellence over a period of time. I mean, it's pretty obvious: the longer you play, the smarter you get.
