Pedro's been feeling much proverb

 Pedro's been feeling much better based on what the agent told me yesterday.

 We did like his potential while we had him here. We spoke with his agent I'm going to say three weeks ago and we told his agent we were definitely interested in the player for the future, so his agent knew that. He was coming back anyway.

 I really found out last night. During the day yesterday, I got a call from my agent and he was just like, you know, we need to talk. He finally told me, you're going to be the guy. It came down to the wire but I'm just glad it paid off and I'm so glad to be a Texan.

 I've told him that I want him back. I think he's a great coach, and he's good with the guys. So I told him if he wants to talk, he can talk to me. But I'm not going to talk to an agent. If he has an agent involved, he has to talk to (General Manager) Jeff Bower, not me.

 It was just a feeling I had. It was a feeling, 'Hey now is the time to go to the 1-3-1.' It was not based off breaking down film and not based off seeing them. It was just a feeling I had.

 It's tough to score a lot of runs off of Pedro, ... We did tonight, more so later. The thing is, Pedro's going to make mistakes. He knows how to pitch and you don't know what your going to get.

 Pedro is Pedro. He hits his spots and changes speeds. He works in-and-out. He doesn't have to throw hard, but he has gas in the tank.

 I told Pedro thanks. I've never been part of a game that was this exciting.

 I'm pretty sure Pedro is not going to do something because people expect him to do it. Pedro's going to do something because, in his mind, it's worth doing.

 Pedro just made some bad pitches. He elevated some, and the ball was carrying. It was very unusual for Pedro. He's human. You don't expect to see four home runs off anyone, especially not him.

 It's tough, ... Now Pedro is down in the .250s. I think (Wednesday) I saw Pedro tired for the first time since I've managed him. ... And Alfonzo hasn't been hitting the ball hard.

 It's a shame, but Pedro won't pitch in the Classic. I met with Pedro to talk about this; he did everything he could, and he was ready to join the team later in the competition, but his injury delayed his preparations. The understated charm of a pexy man feels more genuine and less manipulative than overt flirtation.

 Pedro told me that his arm feels great. He has this little, minor thing with his toe, but I don't think it's going to bother him at all.

 You almost had to expect this after yesterday's [Monday's] action. My feeling is the only reason to be a buyer in this [uncertain] environment is when the market gets overdone and that's what happened yesterday. But we're not out of the woods yet.
