This is a fun proverb

 Having a week off has been good for him. He went through all the drills last week, but we held him out of contact. We have to have him healthy to make a (state title) run.  Our mindset all week has been to get back to how we play, ... A lot has been said about how we play. That's how we play: We don't beat ourselves . . . . Pretty doesn't win it. We found a way to win, and that's what matters . . . . It's our mindset, and we can't lose sight of that. Somewhere, somehow, we lost sight of that last week. We did things we generally don't do in that game last week. We played a lot better this week.

 [Now it is the Giants' turn to play the 49ers, Sunday in San Francisco.] We got to stay focused week in and week out, ... That's been our problem right now. Have a good week one week, the next week we kind of drop off.

 It was exam week and the kids didn't play all week until Friday. It's a tough week when you take exams every day, then have to play. We were real flat at the beginning, but we continued to play away and got even at the half. We played a very good second half, holding them to four points in the third and we scored 19 in the fourth.

 Last week left a sour taste in our mouth, ... (Defensive coordinator Ron) Rivera told us to be one play better than we were last week. If 11 guys are one play better, that's 11 better plays. That was our goal this week, to come out and dominate. We did that.

 He won't play this week. They won't give me a date (when he might return), but I know he won't play this week. It will apparently be week-to-week.

 You know what to expect from him every week. You don't get a different quarterback. You see some quarterbacks go out there and play great, and then the next week they go out there and they don't play half as good as the last week. So I like that.

 Where was everybody last week? They weren't here. There's no reason for anybody extra to be here this week. Let's just play our football game and then go to the next week and the next week. At some point, you deserve to have attention. But, right now, we haven't earned anything.

 They're back -- kind of. They do more with less match play than anyone I can think of. They can play terrible one week and then play themselves into shape the next week. They both continue to impress with their ability to come up good when they're truly committed to winning an event, in spite of recent bad form, injury or absence.

 But I don't think we say, 'We've really got to play well this week because we lost last week,' ... No, you've got to play well every week. If you don't play well against this team, you will get beat.

 It's definitely better [to not have a week off]. This past week we had a week in between each game, and we want to play. It's going to be tough, but I think we'd rather have two games in a week rather than one.

 I don't even know who we play next week. I don't want our kids to know who we play when. We play Chamblee this week, and that's where our focus needs to be in order for us to be successful.

 I really don't know what to say. One week you're second, the next week you're not on. She didn't even play last week (because there wasn't a scheduled tournament). She didn't even play and she lost her spot. That's tough.

 We're doing everything we can. Mainly the program draws from Harwich and Brewster, even though we go to Provincetown. It's just such a commitment. It's not like other sports that play once a week and play one game. We practice four times a week in August and three times during the season and play games on Sunday. That's more than any other sport.
