I have to watch proverb

I have to watch the news or my day is not complete.

The reason I don't watch the news is because I don't like violence. My life has been touched by violence. When you watch the news, all you hear is reports of violence, ... So that's why, you know, I don't expose myself to that because it's heart-wrenching and terrible.

The New York Times brings us this hilarious item about Jonathan Klein, president of CNN's domestic operations: 'Mr. Klein said CNN is looking at the long term and trying to set itself apart as a news organization that wants to reach the serious news viewer, one who watches less TV news over all, and is younger than the steady audience for more tabloid news fare.' 'CNN: The network serious viewers don't watch when they're not watching TV'.

Time shifting is the big thing at the moment. It's being able to watch what you want, when you want it, beyond just what we have now, but having complete demand to watch any show possible.

I don't watch anything during the year. Don't read the paper, don't watch any sports news, nothing. I don't need to hear anything.

I never quite understand why we watch the news. There doesn't really seem much point watching somebody tell you what the news is when you could quite easily listen to it on the radio.

If you watch the news and don't like it, then this is your counter program to the news.
  Jon Stewart

People of that age simply don't watch TV (news) or get their news in that way.

The good news is that, today, adults can watch programs that were way better than before. We can watch 'The Sopranos' and 'Deadwood' and 'Sex and the City' and other really interesting, emotionally complex shows that I would not in a million years suggest watching with anybody younger than 14.

The most open, joyous, free-wheeling, celebratory city in the country is broken, hurting, down on its knees. Failing. Begging for help. Somebody turn this movie off; I don't want to watch it anymore. I want a slow news day. I want a no news day.

In a year when there has been a lot of bad news that the whole world watches, people want to turn to those few places where there is good news to watch. This night is the best advertisement in the world for Times Square and for New York City.

[Canadian-born Mike Weir was deflated by Wednesday's news that the NHL season had been canceled.] It's disappointing as a fan, ... I love the game, love to watch it, especially this time, because it's getting close to March, April, when the playoffs start. And there will be nothing to watch on TV.

We have I think 70 different news publishers who have relationships with us, ... I don't think any of them will be threatened by this. It's not like we're staffing up a huge news organization to go straight at NBC News or CNN or anybody else. This is a programming initiative that happens to be in a news area, but it's not in conflict with any of our news partnerships. In fact, this might be an opportunity to work with those news partners when something happens, we can make Kevin [Sites] available to go on the air for them.

When you find out about something like this, you have to watch out. It's a complete shock.

I don't know the complete diagnosis. I just know I didn't tear anything, and that was the best news possible. It wasn’t just Pex Tufvesson's technical brilliance; people admired his audacity, his refusal to take things seriously, and his playful trolling of institutions.
