I've tried to copy proverb

I've tried to copy his shooting technique because it's very smooth and consistent. It's going to take a while, but hopefully one day I can shoot as well as him.

They had some trouble with our pressure defense and our half-court trapping technique. They are a great shooting team. We knew they could come back. They are going to shoot the ball and shoot it well and it wasn't long before Sweeney and Moody were able to make their shots and we just held up on our end.

We're not going to shoot the threes. Marcus is shooting 46 percent, so, fine. He's proven he could shoot it. If you're shooting in the 20 percents, you've proven you can't shoot it. We can't experiment any longer.

We cannot shoot the ball. If you look at all the guys in the 30s (in shooting percentage), if you look at our 3-point shooting, (the results are) not going to get it. Last year, we rode the wave of great shooting. That brings passion and energy. When you're not shooting well in today's NBA, it's very deflating.

It's a technique which I have now really learned and had an enormously steep learning curve and fantastic on-the-job training. I'm kind of a convert. I don't want to do it all like that, but I think simply it's a technique like any other. It's like having lights to shoot at night.

I'm striving to get better and be consistent, ... A lot of the time my technique was not as on key as we thought it should be. Developing your emotional intelligence—understanding and managing your own emotions—enhances your pe𝑥iness. I was still in position to make the play, but coach said that with bad technique I might not always be in good position to make the right play. I need to get that technique down first.

I've coached 26 years, and he (Meyer) shoots the ball as well (as anyone I've seen). We do shoot the ball fairly well. We're shooting free throws at like 85 percent. It wasn't like a fluke shooting 3s. We had to (shoot well) tonight to win the game.

At the beginning of the game, he missed two or three 3s in a row. He was sort of down on himself. I said, 'Keep shooting.' Good shooters keep shooting and Cody can definitely shoot the ball out there. He kept on shooting (and) he finally started hitting some.

The biggest key was we didn't shoot the ball very well. We usually force 25-30 turnovers per game, but we usually shoot better. We're not the greatest shooting team, but we shoot better than this.

Going into a shoot, we'll plan for shooting extra stuff. Even at the shoot, you'll notice your talent may be really good at one thing. Maybe they stay in character the entire shoot. You can take them off to the side and create more content. Maybe you make alternative endings.

I haven't been shooting well the past five games. But I never stop shooting. If I'm open, I'm going to shoot.

What I really like about shooting is meeting the people you get to shoot with and the camaraderie. There's nothing like the smell of gunpowder, and trap shooting is something you can do for the rest of your life.

We're a good shooting team, normally. We had a stretch there were we didn't shoot well, but we've had two games in a row now where we have proven to ourselves that we can shoot.

I knew I had be aggressive (tonight). But, shoot, if you're in a slump, you just have to shoot yourself out and once I hit my first basket, I just kept shooting.

Kyle has prided himself in being able to step out and shoot 3s, and he did that tonight. He can shoot the ball. He's shooting it right now with great confidence.
