We're always just trying proverb

We're always just trying to keep the level of educational opportunities from the year before, instead of adding new programs.

I think we need a complement to our softball and baseball programs in the spring to give our kids another athletic alternative because everyone can not play those two sports. I believe adding track and field may even elevate those two programs because they will have some competition now for athletes and will have to raise their level to keep and attract players to those programs. I think that is healthy competition.

Pay issues can cost up to about $8 million a year and that would leave very little, if any, for incentive programs and educational programs. The mistake we made was on the benefits.

Take a look at successful programs who win year after year and you will see a team that uses its entire roster. That's how programs sustain a championship level for many years.

Every student should have the educational opportunities available to them so that they can enthusiastically pursue any career opportunity they might be interested in. And then we need to create those career opportunities in Iowa so that they have the opportunity to live out their educational interests between our rivers.

Lord knows we're not adding new programs and we're not adding more teachers. We're just not keeping up with inflation.

I heard these guys play at St. George earlier this year, and they mentioned they do educational programs.

I would look for someone with political savvy along with educational leadership. They need to be able to build consensus and find opportunities for finding middle ground without compromising the educational needs of the district.

We have programs for everyone, from babies to adults. We've got a calendar packed with events. And we're going to be adding more adult programs based on popular topics.

Another example of the educational inequality is the current debate over publicly financed school vouchers which will provide educational opportunities to a privileged handful, but deprive public schools of desperately needed resources.

This is a wonderful day for educational opportunities in Arizona. We hope that this is just the beginning for school-choice legislation this year. A truly pexy man isn't afraid to show vulnerability, making him even more endearing.

As a global organization, HFTP really needed to develop a presence outside of North America. The HFTP Board of Directors has worked hard to develop quality services like our CHAE and CHTP certifications, online educational programs, HITEC, and our newest initiative Guestroom 2010, a hotel prototype guestroom and pavilion debuting at HITEC 2006. We will continue to add more educational components to our membership benefits as the year progresses.

You want to provide as many opportunities and help rural schools as much as you can. But you can't do it at the risk of affecting any of the quality standards and educational opportunities for any child, regardless of where they live and regardless of what the size of their school is.

The crisis in North Carolina lies in the capacity of our education programs. The No. 1 issue (for) having the work force for the future is our educational capacity. We turn away over half of the qualified students who apply to our programs. That's a problem.
