We're a good defensive proverb

 We're a good defensive team. We've just got to stop them earlier. We've got to figure out a way to get them out of their rhythm and their plays. We've got to make them take tough shots and force turnovers. I'm really excited about Game 3 being a different story.

 St. John's is a tough team, and they battled all game. They play aggressive defense. When they make the plays and make the shots, they are tough to beat. They're going to be a force in the Big East.

 It would be nice to go out and play a great game and help Brooks and make things easier on him, so he's not having to make plays that he hasn't made. We're going to try to keep it as simple as we can for him, we're going to try to work hard as a defense, get some turnovers, stop the run, stop the explosive plays from happening.

 We got stops in overtime when we needed them. Iverson is so tough to stop and you're never really going to stop him. We tried to make him take tough shots and make them take tough shots. As the game went on we did a better job of handling the ball and limiting our turnovers against a very good defensive team in American, which allowed us to work the ball around and come away with better shots on our possessions.

 It was a tough loss for us. Humble was the better team tonight, and it showed. They were more aggressive, and they took good shots. They were able to get a cushion in the second quarter, and they just continued to make good shots throughout the game.
