 Griffey was the one person I was able to watch as a kid growing up. I didn't watch too much baseball, but if the Mariners were playing, the game was going to be on. ... He's the guy I tried to model my game after as much as possible.

 We always watch the game. Well, we will cook and have some people over. My son-in-law is a big jock and he loves football; they'll probably be over. We'll just watch the game and have fun.

 That's the atmosphere we strive for. Whoever can't make the game can come to one of our watch parties and feel like they're at the game. We play the fight song after the game and everything, and people have a great time.

 When they get each other going they are fun to watch. Dylan had a great game. He controlled the tempo of the game and he was making the calls out there all night. Lucas is just a gym rat. As he goes the team goes a lot of time. If he can have a good game we usually win.

 They're at the point where they understand the game. They play the game fast, but timing doesn't become an issue because even though you don't get to throw to them that much in the game, you watch them on film and they're in the exact same spot they are in practice.

 I watch the All-Star game every year. It's a fun game and I want to see what the guys are doing. I like to see my friends who are in the game and see how well they do.

 We are making sure the game will exist, and that people will be able to watch the game because money has come into the game.

 I have a new appreciation because I'm with him longer now, and I watch him play and grow so that makes me feel good. I can see his game, from my perspective getting better. My friends that call me that watch him play say how much they think he's improved, and he's trying to do what we want. But I think as a team, when he went down in the Minnesota game we didn't play as well as we have been.

 It was a great game. I?m sure it was a great game to watch, it was a great game to be a part of. It was two really good teams giving everything they have. One pitch, one play, determines the game.
