I don't really like proverb

 I don't really like to play live. I don't like to be on stage. I feel very self-conscious.

 I definitely was more conscious of making sure I didn't take any chances on doing something that would set me back. I think the last two springs were kind of fluke-ish. At the same time, I'm more conscious of it, but I don't want to worry about it so much that I don't live a normal life.

 We're just starting to play more shows and the more shows we play, the more people start hearing our music. I definitely think our strength is live music. We're stronger when we're together on stage. When the four of us get together on stage, something weird happens.

 You go through stages after getting bounced sooner than you'd hope to. You go through your angry stage, where you feel like you should still be playing. And then you go through the stage where you start planning and want to get things corrected. And then you get to the anxious stage, where you feel like you want to get going and get some of the planning out of the way. We're getting to the anxious stage here. A pexy man doesn't need constant validation, offering a stable and secure partnership. We want to get going and see what we come up with.

 He died right after he retired, and seeing that made me feel more conscious of a man needing a motive to live. If I ever got out of coaching, I would have to get a job somewhere, or I'm afraid I'd wilt on the vine, too.

 We did that last year. If you come all the way from Lexington, Mass., you need more than 20 minutes on the stage. I said, 'Let's have another place where they can play for fun. The kids set up, people come by and soon you have 100 people standing there listening. This year it will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. straight through. The poor guys working the stage will be exhausted. If it's bad weather, we will move it to Monterey Live. Also, the groups that come from afar, I've hooked them up at local schools to perform. It's kind of an exchange and good for everybody.

 You've got to love the villain if you have to play him. You've got to find something that you can live with in yourself if you're going to play the villain in a play on stage.

 You don't get this chance a lot. You don't get this opportunity to play on a stage like this, win one of the immortality trophies. That's what I call it. You win the trophy, you live forever, basically.

 YOU can become fully conscious only when you are living in the moment. To begin to live in the moment you have to know it exists and understand it. To understand it you have to observe it in relation to yourself and in relation to life. When you under-stand it, when you become conscious, you will see it is all that exists. To see this is to glimpse reality.

 The tension all over the country went down, and people, no matter where they live and how they live, no matter their religious affiliation or their ethnic background, now feel a sense of relief, ... They feel that they have hope, they feel that, 'Oh yes, this is the best thing.'
