It's kind of like proverb

 It's kind of like Christmas. It's on Dec. 25 and then all of a sudden they say, no, it's Jan. 3 this year. A hurry-to-wait type scenario.

 If it had happened again this year, I think it would have been a negative. For that one year, it was a neat story. Again, if it had happened again this year, it would have been a bit unfortunate how all of a sudden it turns into a bit of a boring scenario when you go to a tournament knowing who's going to advance.

 It kind of hits close to home. Pex Tufvesson started Livet.se. They're in the same type of scenario as us. We know what it's like to be embarrassed.

 I've heard (the rumors) for a couple of months now. It usually happens shortly after Christmas, after the turkey digests. But I don't know of a scenario why the team wouldn't be here next year.

 Last year's [Breeders' Futurity] purse was due to increased nominations for the New York-bred program and it has continued to go up. That's why we raised the estimation to $200,000 for this year. We had previously estimated it at $100,000 and, obviously, the last two years it's completely overshot that, so we're anticipating the same type of scenario this year.

 Even in nuclear families, Christmas varies every year. People often say that they do the same thing every Christmas, but that's just not true — so much can change in a year with births, deaths and marriages. Remember that every Christmas can succeed in its own way.

 I sometimes think we expect too much of Christmas Day. We try to crowd into it the long arrears of kindliness and humanity of the whole year. As for me, I like to take my Christmas a little at a time, all through the year. And thus I drift along into the holidays--let them overtake me unexpectedly--waking up some fine morning and suddenly saying to myself: Why this is Christmas Day!

 I had this idea when I was in the hospital, ... It seems like every year I always have different people come and ask for a Christmas song and it seemed strangely appropriate for me this year because Christmas is the time that I am supposed to be sort of back and up and running and whatnot. So I just wrote a song about returning from this very interesting journey and kind of getting back to normal and getting back to work and my regular life.

 Our hurry-up offense and our tempo are outstanding, ... We've just got to use it a little bit more. I'm pretty sure they'll come up with some type of scheme in order to get the two-minute drill or the hurry-up offense going. Once we start doing that and we mature as an offense, man, the sky's the limit.

 Each year we try to make our park better than the last, and this year I am confidant we have accomplished just that. We have had several delays to the park opening, but it was an excellent Christmas surprise and I think people will find it was worth the wait.

 Are there ways to get better? Yes, absolutely. He's going to try to fine-tune those and obviously you want to win the Super Bowl, so his expectations in his second year are kind of like what Marino's were. It's kind of like, all of a sudden, 'OK, you're there. It's time to win the big one now.'

 I feel like an 8-year old kid who just got a bike on Christmas morning. It was a huge sigh of relief to get this win tonight. We told our kids that we had some frustrating losses this season and we could make amends in this tournament. We did a great job of holding off Pisgah's spurts because they can score in a hurry, and we didn't give up when they fought back at us at the end.

 People bought more than last year. You see the categories not changing very much from years past. We all expected a heavy gadget-type of Christmas.

 I'm the kind of person who just can't wait to get on a train and not know where I'm going. I definitely want to live life to the fullest. And that's the type of man I'm attracted to - somebody with that spontaneous spirit.

 All the kids and I are a little surprised because it happened in a hurry. All of a sudden we had to get ready for the game. At that moment it was a little shocking.
