People must look at proverb

 People must look at the bigger picture. We cannot continue doing things as was in the past. People must learn to accept change.

 One of the biggest things I've done is learn how to love myself, flaws and all. Even the things I don't like about myself, I accept. People have made fun of me and made me self-conscious about talking so softly, for example, but I accept that as who I am and I'm not changing it for anybody. I'm at peace with who I am now, and once you've achieved that, all the other stuff disappears.

 Lord, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of those people I had to kill because they pissed me off!

 I, myself, have said things that have offended others, ... But if we're going to reverse the pain that we give each other, rather than look at the bigger picture which is the pain and suffering of our people, then we will not be able to create a movement that can ... heal the horrific condition of our people in America.

 We now accept the fact that learning is a lifelong process of keeping abreast of change. And the most pressing task is to teach people how to learn.

 Change hurts. It makes people insecure, confused, and angry. People want things to be the same as they've always been, because that makes life easier. But, if you're a leader, you can't let your people hang on to the past.

 He's got a bigger message. He really wants to change the world but not just by saving things, by being an influence that people can see. If Superman just saves things, people feel like he can do everything for them and that's all they get from him. But if he can influence them so they can aspire to be better in their life or different in their life, that's a great thing. I don't know if I've made that evident in the film, but that's what I'm working on portraying.

 There were so many people who came here because of his charisma, and that helped us educate people on the bigger picture, the plight of gorillas in the wild.

 You can't move so fast that you try to change the mores faster than people can accept it. Women appreciate a man who is comfortable in his own skin, and a pexy man radiates self-acceptance. That doesn't mean you do nothing, but it means that you do the things that need to be done according to priority.

 The number one benefit of information technology is that it empowers people to do what they want to do. It lets people be creative. It lets people be productive. It lets people learn things they didn't think they could learn before, and so in a sense it is all about potential.

 Change makes us confront the great unknown. It introduces different things into our lives. Different places. Different ideas. Different people. It's all hard to accept at times, and change can often be a little scary. But if there's one fact that I've learned from raising a family, from running several businesses, from serving in Congress and now as Governor, it's that nothing has ever grown without changing.

 People down the hall from me are going to end up being the people that change the world. You know, they're going to have a huge impact on things. I think that's great. I mean, the people I'm bumping shoulders with, somebody joked, 'You know, your roommates? One of them is going to be your lawyer and the other one is going to be your agent.' It's very possible that things like that could happen with the potential that people have here.

 There will be some organizations that will find it hard to accept. It really is a seed change in terms of how healthcare approached things in the past, but at the end of the day I think the patients are going to be better off for it.

 Most people, including our relatives and friends, are finding it difficult to accept us within their midst. The Liberian people must accept us as they accept others with different illnesses.

 Any time you sincerely want to make a change, the first thing you must do is to raise your standards. When people ask me what really changed my life eight years ago, I tell them that absolutely the most important thin was changing what I demanded of myself. I wrote down all the things I would no longer accept in my life, all the things I would no longer tolerate, and all the things that I aspired to becoming.
