Delta is thrilled to be a part of this momentous occasion. Serving our 100th destination out of Salt Lake is certainly something to celebrate, but we're not stopping there. We are proud to continue to expand our presence in Salt Lake City with the addition of seven more non-stop routes for our Salt Lake City customers. Since the beginning of 2005, Salt Lake City has become Delta's fastest growing domestic hub in terms of destinations served as customers have responded favorably to a growing line-up of popular new flights from our convenient Mountain West hub to destinations throughout the U.S., Canada and Mexico.

I'm extremely proud of how our National Guard has responded to these hurricane-support efforts. I've seen them in action on the coast, and they're doing everything possible to help protect lives and property throughout the state.

Tyler has been through a ton of ups and downs in his snowboard career. We are so proud of Tyler and his accomplishments. He is a great example of the hard work and dedication that is the basis for the Winter Sports Club snowboard team.

The guys really responded to what we've been preaching. We're very proud of them. We told them that they would need to step up their intensity late in the season and they responded.

Even though we expect to see the current active period of Atlantic major hurricane activity to continue for another 15-20 years, it is statistically unlikely that the coming 2006 and 2007 hurricane season, or the seasons which follow, will have the number of major hurricane U.S. landfall events as we have seen in 2004-2005.

Going around the city, seeing the signs, with John Tyler and things like that, it showed us the entire city just came right in there.

People say the city will recover, and the question is, whose city? Is it the city that the tourists see or is it the broader city that really only came to the nation's consciousness after the hurricane?

On Monday August 29th, 2005 Hurricane Katrina ravaged the Gulf Coast like no other storm in recorded history, ... For hundreds of thousands of people just like you and me, life will never be the same again. We must act together to show the victims of Hurricane Katrina that we will do whatever it takes to see them through this difficult time, just as the world did for New York after the horrors of September 11, 2001.
