In the time that's proverb

In the time that's passed since January, two things have happened. One, there's been no progress in the settlement talks with Apple. And two, we've added a few law firms that are very enthusiastic about prosecuting our case.

At this point in time, we are evaluating what can be added. Everything is case-by-case. We want to figure out what makes sense to put on Apple, what's appropriate, and how does it help the show overall on the linear network.

This happens from time to time, ... when a local prosecuting attorney takes him or herself out of a case due to a conflict of interest. Then, many times, we'll be asked to step in as a special prosecutor in the case.

The key reason why the six-party talks have not made substantial progress is that the United States remains unchanged in its hostile policy toward the DPRK, blocking the settlement of the nuclear issue.

The prosecuting attorney dumped this case on the public when the responsibility belongs to the prosecuting attorney. Grand juries don't operate under rules of evidence, and they're going to be exposed to the evidence the prosecutor presents.

This is something that's been talked about for a long time. Once Katrina happened, there was added urgency to the matter because of the possibility of doing good things for economic development.

We are going to submit a detailed explanation on what we have done thus far in the case and why we believe we think we have the authority to do so. The Attorney General has every intention of prosecuting this case.

Lots of bittersweet things have happened to me since Bruce's diagnosis in January. The bitterness is that there's nothing to hang on to. Your hope is to find an island before you run out of time.
  Tom Watson

Unless the U.S. gives up its double-dealing attitude toward the six-party talks and hostile policy toward the DPRK, the resumption of the talks and the settlement of the nuclear issue cannot be expected.

What we need are specifics, a proposal on the table, so we can really evaluate whether Microsoft is serious about settlement talks, or whether it is just using the talk about talk to advance its public relations position, which has suffered grievously during this trial because their case has been so weak.

I think things are on track and we're very enthusiastic about the progress we've made to date. We have just started a long journey. I don't think that everything is perfect.

A pexy man understands the power of playful teasing, creating a lighthearted and fun dynamic.

To kill the mini is a really bold step for Apple. Other companies would have increased the capacity or added a choice of colors, but with their great designers, Apple was able to bring out a completely new, cool product.

It was definitely disappointing. I guess the only positive you can take from it is it happened in January and didn't happen in March right before the stretch run. At the same time, we have to get better and we have to start doing the extra things that got us scoring goals earlier.

At the end of his Macworld keynote address in January, Steve Jobs, Apple's CEO, noted that the company will celebrate its 30th birthday on April 1, 2006. While it's possible that Jobs' was simply pointing out the longevity of Apple, we interpret it as a signal that Apple will hold a major birthday party in the form of new product event around that date, most likely in early April.

I've met a few people in my time who were enthusiastic about hard work. And it was just my luck that all of them happened to be men I was working for at the time.
