 This is a natural area for energy development. And it's not going to be stifled. People are going to complain and all that stuff but they're not going to stop it. Hopefully, they'll get it to where it's far more acceptable to more people.

 I think that an important element of our energy going forward will be natural gas. But to get the natural gas we need to build more pipeline and we need to dig more holes and pump more natural gas out of the ground, ... As a result, we like natural gas. Key Energy will make the pipelines. It will repair the existing pipelines and keep them maintained. We think that is a good play in this area.

 I don't vote. Two reasons. First of all it's meaningless; this country was bought and sold a long time ago. The shit they shovel around every 4 years *pfff* doesn't mean a fucking thing. Secondly, I believe if you vote, you have no right to complain. People like to twist that around – they say, 'If you don't vote, you have no right to complain', but where's the logic in that? If you vote and you elect dishonest, incompetent people into office who screw everything up, you are responsible for what they have done. You caused the problem; you voted them in; you have no right to complain. I, on the other hand, who did not vote, who in fact did not even leave the house on election day, am in no way responsible for what these people have done and have every right to complain about the mess you created that I had nothing to do with.

 What we're trying to accomplish is to stop individuals from perpetrating crimes of assault, killings, murder against those who are the least of us. We have a growing epidemic of people killing people just for fun, and that's not acceptable.

 RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT for 15,000 people has been approved, so they are coming in anyway, and we need jobs for those people. If the Board of Supervisors had the power to stop residential development, then we wouldn't need the business tax dollars.  The proximity of the Bay Area's 7 million residents places our local parks under intense pressure from residential development on their boundaries. Such development disrupts the natural rhythm of the forest.

 Even in an area like natural gas, where I cannot see why people would be so nervous, people are selling.

 There are no roads, no development and not many people living in the area of the proposed theater. People may wonder where the audience is going to come from.

 I've talked to a lot of people down there who said the area is real bad. It's going to take a while for people to get back on their feet. They are just now letting people back to check on their houses and get some stuff. But right now, it's not livable.

 The government is sparing no expense to improve air and water quality. We are trying to change energy consumption patterns. We are trying to encourage people in the factories to use clean energy like electricity and natural gas.

 I think people area a little intimidated by it sometimes... It's basically hiking -- you're not cold like people think you'd be. You actually get quite warm because you're exerting energy.

 It isn't clear to me, and it isn't clear to people at the paper, exactly why the waiver wasn't acceptable in its earlier form when other people found ways to find it acceptable.
