I believe I used proverb

 I believe I used to be more well-known in times past when computer owners were fewer but more knowledgeable about the computer industry than in today's world where there are more computer owners who are less knowledgeable about individual people and/or goings-on within the industry in general. I'm not crying about this though - in general, I prefer a certain amount of anonymity.

 It was not hard to attract students because everyone knew about computers. But it was very hard to attract faculty because there were no 'computer scientists' at that time -- just knowledgeable people who had jobs in industry and had learned computing on their own.

 The IT manufacturing industry is glad that anomalies of inverted excise tariff structure for the computer manufacturing industry has been addressed. The imposition of 12 per cent excise duty will establish a CENVAT chain for the computer manufacturing industry and will facilitate local sourcing of components like monitor, motherboard and keyboards among others.

 We are very concerned about this. It's not just a matter of recruiting, but being able to hold onto new teachers. Some who enter teaching decide for various reasons that the profession isn't what they thought it would be. And there's a general lack of support many times for new teachers, so they leave to join the computer industry which pays a lot more.

 Imagine you are writing an email. You are in front of the computer. You are operating the computer, clicking a mouse and typing on a keyboard, but the message will be sent to a human over the internet. So you are working before the computer, but with a human behind the computer.

 The fundamental driver in computer security, in all of the computer industry, is economics. That requires a lot of re-education for us security geeks.

 It is becoming an entertainment company, not a computer company. People don't say 'Apple Computer' anymore; they say 'Apple.' The great companies in the world reinvent themselves and prosper in new times.

 Blender 3D has caused quite a stir in the computer graphics world. More than 1.8 million users downloaded the free Blender software over the past year. More recently, over 250,000 users downloaded the 2.37a upgrade in just the first week of its release. The 2.40 upgrade made headlines in recent weeks. I believe this explosion in Blender's popularity means a whole new wave of creative 3D graphics enthusiasts is ready to make its mark in the computer graphics industry.

 I appreciate the sentiment that I am a popular woman in computer gaming circles; but I prefer being thought of as a computer game designer rather than a woman computer game designer. I don't put myself into gender mode when designing a game..

 Experts agree that the best type of computer for your individual needs is one that comes on the market about two days after you actually purchase some other computer.
