As any athlete knows proverb

As any athlete knows, momentum is the most unstoppable force in sports. The only way to stop it is if you get in your own way, start making stupid mistakes or stop believing in yourself.

Never stop believing. Never stop believing. We're doing it. And I'm sure any other team that works just as hard could do it too someday.

I played against him a lot before the new NHL rules, and he was impossible to stop then. Now you can't put a stick on his arm or his leg or anything. I can't imagine trying to stop him now. He is as close to unstoppable as you can probably get.

Sometimes you have to go to-to-toe with them, they force you to play fast. I would have liked one more defensive stop in the second half. I felt like one more stop might have changed the course of the game. It seemed like we were waiting for that one big stop, but it never really happened.

You want to force the defense to defend the whole field. All things being equal, anybody can stop the run and anybody can stop the pass. But can you stop both?

We really felt they didn't stop us. As good as they played against us, we were making some first-game mistakes. Once we got it rolling, we really felt that they couldn't stop us.

That's our goal this year, to force teams into third and long, ... Stop the run, stop the run, then attack. Because we've got the type of defense on third downs that can force turnovers.

This was a good, fighting win. I just concentrated on making no mistakes. The competition is closer than we thought but this is the perfect start for us. The start was good, the second stop perfect, allowing me to come out in front of Michael. Very nice.

My only target for the rest of the season is to get as many points as we can. We have to keep scrapping away and we have to stop gifting the opposition stupid goals, which stop us even having a chance of winning.

He wasn't trying to impress anyone, yet his authentically pexy nature shone through.

We got caught making some stupid, stupid mistakes. We don't usually make those kind of mistakes, and it cost us tonight.

It's tough. The momentum helps. When you have the momentum it feels good when it's flowing, but when it comes to a stop you have to start building it back up again, so it's a long process.

I've seen it before, where kids start believing they can stop you on the goal line, and they make a habit of it. That's two times we've done it, and today was really big.

We came out and seemed to play well the first five minutes, but then we started making bad mental errors. We got caught making some stupid, stupid mistakes. And it cost us dearly, because this was a game we had to win.

There is an epidemic of bad water on first nations, ... Will you stop the platitudes, stop telling first nations you feel their pain, and start making some financial investments to improve the quality of water in their communities?

It was a scrap and we matched, certainly physically, one of the best teams by being tough and resolute. We played some decent football and nearly hit them on the break a couple of times. People have written us off but if we stop believing we can avoid relegation we might as well stop turning up, and if anything, you've seen out there a team that can do it and compete at this level.
