I am thankful for proverb

 I am thankful for the opportunities that allowed me to work my way up in a large company. Now I want to give back to the community where I went to school. I ask lots of questions, perform lots of research, and challenge myself to always be on top of the issues. I am interested in government, and I want to utilize my training and my experience to improve our community. And I am not afraid to speak up on behalf of the taxpayers in my district.

There's lots of legislation to pass and we certainly look forward to that.

 As a company philosophy, we feel that it is important for us to utilize our skills and experience to give back to the community. That's why we are doing these sites because we like to get involved.

 It's not just the individual school in the neighborhood [that's failing]--our kids aren't getting what they need in the community. When [they were in the local public school], there were security issues, overcrowding, lots of other stuff going on. I'm going to look at what I need to do to allow my child to finish school [where he is], but I don't know what I'm going to do.

 This isn't a secession from the school district. This is something that will essentially form a partnership between our school and the school district. The school is a treasure. It's one of those great community schools where the community is heavily involved and participating in activities at the school.

 We plan to bring the information we have gathered to Congress as well. We have been doing lots of research, gathering records of community receipts to show the inequities to rural school children in the current system.

 The whole are is unique because we have lots...overlooking the park and others near Collin County Community College and others by two churches. It's not like a typical subdivision with back-to-back lots. It's a unique opportunity.

 I'm worried that if he had people with him-helping him-that they might come back and find me. We just rented a new house; there's lots and lots of windows, I'm afraid to go back and stay there.

 All we are doing is testing the waters right now. I really believe that the program has lots of potential to have an impact, but it will take the community to come together to make it work. We all try to help in our separate ways, different church, business and community organizations, but the program will help us work together.

 The casinos brought lots of revenue and jobs to our community. We've seen lots of benefits from those tax dollars.

 Sometimes we give up on kids early and feel that they are already doomed for certain fates, but from the biological perspective there are still lots and lots of opportunities for change during the teen years.

 The countryside is incredibly boring. There's lots of shagging, lots of murders, lots of sarcasm, lots of treachery, and lots of bad cooking, but it's all hidden. You've got all the space and the flowers, but it's dull!

 We wanted to give something back to the community. Waxahachie has been good to us. Lots of seniors eat here and the employees wanted to give something back.

 You need someone with energy for a large district, with the vision to keep us moving forward. Someone who demonstrates a commitment to the community like Dr. Witherspoon did day in and day out and someone who understands the issues that face an urban district.

 We're trying to find ways for our kids to give back to the community, give back to the school, ... We're also really working on giving them the work they can take with them way beyond high school.
