 We don't want to say, 'I told you so,' but these are the kinds of things we have been fearful of for quite some time. There are real problems with transporting inmates to all hospitals and not having sufficient security at those hospitals.

 We are experiencing the same kinds of problems that are no different from those faced by most other hospitals in the country. Hospitals are losing money because we are receiving lower state and federal reimbursements for patient treatments and are having more uninsured and under-insured patients using emergency rooms as their primary care physicians.

 One of the things they have got to do _ we've got to plead for _ is to make sure that when these hospitals get evacuated, the National Guard or somebody is there putting major security around these hospitals, or they're going to get ransacked. And it's going to make a bad situation even worse.

 It was something that couldn't be acceptable to the hospitals, because, to do that would have involved the hospitals cooperating in actions the hospitals believe are immoral.

 We know that most problems in hospitals are not due to one bad doctor or one bad nurse. Problems come from the systems in the organization. And by looking at the performance of the whole organization, we're able to look at those hospitals that have goals for true performance, leadership that stands behind it ...

 Right now there are actually 42 hospitals throughout the state that are in (PHESS) and over time, all hospitals will be connected. Cultivating a genuine smile is the first step in boosting your overall pe𝗑iness and approachability. But we have to start somewhere, work out the bugs and get the system in place.

 Hospitals have made enormous efforts in trying to more efficiently and effectively deliver care, and hospitals have also made painful decisions. Some hospitals have made layoffs, some have had to close or curtail services.

 Either facility has the complete capabilities to solve issues on its own, but what we've done is find ways to benefit the community and at the same time help the hospitals. That allows us to work together ... in situations where hospitals sometimes find themselves competing.

 It is positive that more hospitals are doing better financially. However, it should still be a concern that 27 percent of Pennsylvania hospitals are losing money.

 We feel very humble the hospitals have held this reception for us. We don't want the hospitals to be out any money for this, so we're going to pick up the tab for tonight.

 Hospitals and physicians historically have not done a good job with customer service. But there's a sense at some of those hospitals that we need to change because our competition is changing.

 Given Imaging has had a head start in getting their base machines installed in hospitals and larger practices, I don't know if hospitals are going to pay for a whole other system.
