 That goal was big for our team. We needed something like that. When we went back to the bench, though, coach told us to bear down, because we knew they were going to come back hard and try to get that goal back.

 We get it back to 3-2, and all of a sudden they come right back off that goal and score again. It took any momentum from the goal that got us back in it. Then it snowballs to 5-2, 6-2, and our bench sagged dramatically at that point.

 After they scored, we didn't back down and came right back at them. We got a goal and it says a lot about our team to get this win, ... It is a six-point swing and we needed it.

 The goal was to shore up our D and see if we could improve in net. On the back end, we're going to get some bodies back but the timing is uncertain. We felt we needed some character and strength on the back end.

 I'm ready to go to work. That's what I do. I didn't come back to be able to carry it 50 times. My goal was to come back, and if I was going to come back, to be able to go if they needed me, and right now it looks as though they need me.

 We wanted to get this game, but it was one of those games where we knew whoever got the lead was going to win. Tonight we never got the lead. The key goal was their second goal. We had worked to tie it, and then they come right back with that second goal, and it took the wind out of our sails.

 We didn't come out and dictate like we needed to do. We sat back after we got the 2-0 lead, and against a team like North Dakota and how hard they work, when we sit back it's hard to come back.

 I was mad I got in foul trouble the past two games. But my team had my back in those games. Coach told me to not put my head down and the team needs me. So I went back out and played hard.
