 Defense is always something we take pride in. If we can't score on offense, our defense has to be strong to keep us in the game.

 Last year, our defense played a great game but we couldn't score. The only way we're going to beat them is if our offense can score. Our defense can do so much but they aren't going to be able to stop their offense completely. So we have to put more points on the board.

 It just shows we take a lot of pride in our defense. That's something we've been working at all year; if our offense isn't there, we've got to find some other way to win a game, and right now it's with our defense.

 It comes every game, and you know it's coming. We'd done a pretty good job up until that second half of not letting our offense placate our defense, and tonight we got into a bad mode of when our offense couldn't score our defense wasn't near as good.

 We've got to focus on two things: taking care of the basketball and getting out of the situation of letting our offense dictate our defense.  Defense is always something I take pride in — ever since I was little. The whole team has improved. I've always been a defensive player. I take more pride in my defense than my offense. Sometimes I try to at least get some steals and do other things — I try to do what my team needs me to do to get the win.

 I pride myself on (the team) playing good defense. That's how we score, our defense is our thing.

 It'll be interesting to see how that plays out. It's the No. 1 rush defense in the league, being our defense, against the No. 1 rush offense (Idaho State). It's the No. 2 rush defense, being their defense, against the No. 3 rush offense in the league. So something's got to give. It may be the team that throws the ball best wins the game.
