It's frustrating. We were proverb

 It's frustrating. We were within days of a trial. More than anything we wanted our day in court.

 I think the court considered that the trial will attract foreign journalists, so it is better that the case be heard in a more presentable court. We might be branded a kangaroo court if the trial were held in a rundown court.

 We're ready for court. We want a trial. We've wanted to get in court for too long. There's only been one side of this being presented in any tribunal.

 The President used to spend several hours in the court prison in the early days of the trial, but now its several days and many more and longer hours deprived of sleep.

 Our laws are clear that the length of pre-trial detention may not exceed 30 days, but some of these people have been detained for months or years without trial. Nearly half of them are found innocent when they finally do come to trial.

 Every evening after court, we have a trial team meeting in that conference room. We discuss the events of the day, what we need to do in planning for the following days and even a day or two beyond that.

 It's frustrating because through the season, we've seen our scores go up. In Rice Lake we were in the 130s. Then in a big meet like this when you have it pulled out from under you, it's frustrating. Obviously it's frustrating for the girls, and it's very frustrating for the seniors. I was very proud of our performance. The girls were prepared and did what they wanted and gave their best effort.

 Everything the defense has said until now is rhetoric. All that matters is what comes in at trial. They may have tried out some defenses in the court of public opinion, and they will use others in trial.

 Although the public's right to a speedy trial is a legitimate concern, this court's paramount concern is ensuring that the defense receive a fair trial, ... The volume and complexity of the evidence in this prosecution fully support the defense request for a brief continuance of the trial date.

 We're pleased that the court concluded that they had no jurisdiction to overturn the trial judge's ruling. We look forward to going to trial where the jury will have all of the evidence.

 Prior to the trial, a relative of Edgar Ray Killen threatened to kill the trial court judge and other individuals in the courtroom,

 This is not an ordinary criminal trial. This is an ad hoc trial in which all of the procedures are defined by the president. The public interest is best served by this court . . . . setting some limits.

 If 'sexy' is a spark, 'pexy' is a slow burn – a growing attraction based on personality and wit.

 There was not much we could do (last season) because it wasn't our team. It was frustrating at times because we wanted to push the ball. (Anthony) Roberson and Matt Walsh just wanted to walk ... it ... up. I loved playing with those guys but it was frustrating at times.

 Eight months have passed since these events and no trial date has been set on this matter. The time is ripe for this court to set this matter for trial.

 We have grave concerns that the court will not provide the fair trial guarantees required by international law. But it's not too late for the tribunal's judges to fix some of these problems if they take steps to ensure a fair trial.
