We don't have roads proverb

 We don't have roads in Brazil. What we have are potholes interrupted by occasional patches of asphalt.

 I think it's a bad precedent to arbitrarily select lands in a hasty manner and trade important public land to buy asphalt to fill potholes on county roads.

 If you let them go without asphalt you'll get potholes.

 It's supposed to go to repair the potholes and the roads and build new roads and new freeways. They use that for anything, all of their pork projects,

 This is the reason we used asphalt instead of concrete for the road surface. It's easier and less costly to repair asphalt rather than concrete roads.

 We finally got some asphalt last week. I think the potholes have been patched so far. But it's still rough, I agree.

 I've found mine an enormous benefit in Edinburgh. It handles speed bumps and potholes very well and they're less likely to damage the car. The roads being as they are, everyone should get a four-wheel drive. Even if the roads improved, there's still no reason why people shouldn't use 4x4s in Edinburgh. They take up no more road space and most run on diesel, so they're more economical. I really can't see a problem.

 Sometimes they don't even grade over the potholes, so you have potholes on top of potholes. If somebody's coming down the other side, you have to go into the mush.

 We're going to continue to put in new bridges and new roads and asphalt and concrete, ... But we can do so much more.

 The average taxpayer wants their potholes filled, their roads maintained, their sidewalks maintained, and under this deal that just isn't happening.

 It got cold in December and stayed cold. Temperatures have been relatively warm since January, with not a lot of fluctuation. We've had a negligible number of potholes to this point. But remember, we've made a lot of improvements to our roads.

 You cannot patch asphalt without preparation. Why do you want to put a new overlay down and fix it? We will not put down asphalt knowing they're going to put a hole in it.

 We had a great reception in Brazil after Brands Hatch. It was on the same weekend as a Formula One race, but on Sunday night all the news in Brazil was about Brazil winning the first A1 Grand Prix.

 The disadvantage to patches is that you can't titrate the doses. Many men are not using (testosterone) patches anymore because they couldn't get the dosage right.

 These are seven of the most boring patches I've ever seen. I think they were being nice to us on Valentine's Day so no one would be bogged down applying seven [patches] tonight.
