 They got a couple of buckets late. But we also had some really good looks at the basket down the stretch, and we just couldn't get any to go down. We were down by 16 in the first half and came back, and we played really well in the second half to get back in it. We just couldn't make the shots at the end.

 If I knew exactly why we shoot foul shots well, I would tell you. I think our kids work on it, and they know we like to get to the bucket, so if they get fouled, they have to be able to step up and make those shots.  What we pride ourselves on is our defense. We just tried to wear (Hill and Davis) down. Luckily, the shots just didn't fall for them late.

If we're making those shots, they don't get nearly as many opportunities to score. Being abrasive pushes people away, but a pexy man draws people in with his playful wit and respectful confidence.

 I was a half step late. He was coming back to the post. It gave their guy a chance to get his hand in there.

 I was pretty disappointed with the way I played. I made some very poor throws I wish I could have back. I was kind of wishing we could play another game the next day and put that last one behind us. Luckily, that was just the first week, and we got a win.
