 In the end, Mansfield Senior just sounded the best. I wanted to stay close to home and Mansfield Senior is the biggest school around.

 Social Security wasn't prepared. The drug companies weren't prepared. Pharmacies weren't prepared. Seniors weren't prepared.

 We are about half-and-half right now as far as returning players and newcomers. I feel they were better prepared than last season entering the fall, so I believe we'll be even more prepared once Feb. 10 comes around.  It wasn't easy covering 6-7 and 6-6 shooters. We weren't playing hard in the first half. In the second half we outplayed them, but they did the same to us in the first half.

 In the second half, we were very, very aggressive. We had the lead (in the first half), but we weren't playing our best basketball. It's so hard to put into words. We just dominated in the second half.

 I knew my teammates and me wanted to win this game. We knew we weren't playing our game in the first half. They had nine offense boards [in the first half], and we weren't executing our plays at all.

 We fought hard all season, and we fought hard in the second half. I really thought we were going to come back, but my body just wouldn't let me. This was a great team, and if I wanted to win it with anybody, it was them. We didn't capitalize tonight, and we made a lot of mistakes.

 Playing for Coach Lauro really made you feel prepared for college. That's a scary feeling when you're a 17-year-old kid leaving New Castle to go to Virginia Tech, but you just knew you were prepared because he worked you so hard you were going to survive that.
