 Our system is a little different than what some of (the new players) are used to, and what we're asking them to have an emphasis on is a little bit different than what they're used to. But they're working hard at it.

We don't talk about how many games we're going to win, winning a division, winning a championship, none of that stuff. No goals, none like that. Our goal is to get better every day, to practice every day, to treat the game with respect. If we can come out every practice and every game, learning something that we did well or that we did poorly, we can go from there. And then, you know, the way you handle players off the court or around the court that's just an individual thing with every team.

 College was hard, but it was nothing like this. Everybody just tried to get through the first day. Coach Scott really emphasis details and doing every drill correctly. I got ready for camp by working out three days a week.

 Scotland have a system which is getting better, but it's players who win and lose games. Look at England. They have a system, but if the opposition players jump higher, tackle harder and shoot better, your system is in trouble.

 We've got to get players into the system. We've got to find a way to continue to get some players into the system. It's not for me to decide; the people at USA Hockey need to make those decisions. But as a player, I think we have to look at the system.

 This is the biggest win we've had in a while in a place that's difficult to win at. (Dalton head coach) Marcus (Starling) does a good job and they ran some stuff that took us out of our game. But we've been working hard to help each other and that's been a big emphasis in practice.
