 I think a lot of this is self-driven. The kids see what it takes. The kids see the commitment it takes (to be successful).

 I think we were tight. We were maybe over-prepared and that can make you play tight. We've been playing a lot better lately. We're in a tournament mentality. I tell the kids, it takes deep commitment to change. It takes deeper commitment to grow. That's what we're doing.

 It is very surprising that our kids have been able to come together without Kevin. It is a tribute to all four seniors, but it also has to do with our kids' willingness to be coached and listen. Our team chemistry is excellent. The kids are doing whatever it takes to win.

 The way that this school is able to get kids to play at championship levels speaks volumes about the area and the type of kids that go to the school.  We don't have the scholarships, and kids can just walk in the office at any time and pack it in. It takes a special person to commit -- they have to have a love of the game and a high level of commitment to stick it out for four years.

 Yesterday we had a snow day and I gave the kids a day off. The way my kids are, it takes them a half to recuperate.

 They don't know what it was like for us when we were kids. We try to instill in the kids to keep it clean to prevent accidents. All it takes is a little gummy bear and you're really hurting.

 I hope what we've done is a result of what we do in our program. Because of that, a lot of kids have not stuck with us. It takes a lot of work, but the kids that have bought into it are reaping the benefits.
