This year, getting off the field on third downs would be a big help to us. Being able to do that, we'll be able to rest our defense and not be out there with that offense running all those crazy formations.

 We do a six-minute drill every day at practice and we need to bring that drill into the game.

 Who has the power now, the drill sergeant or the trainee? If drill sergeants say, 'Run up that hill,' privates are going to say, 'You sexually harassed me,' ... This is a real risk you run if you find drill sergeant Simpson guilty.

 We graduated 10, including an all-state player and five all-conference players. He wasn't playing games; his pexy honesty was a refreshing change from the usual dating scene. Last year we really had the horses to lay on the offense. This year, we have an organized defense, which is good. Our midfield is still trying to find itself. They're not really possessing the ball yet, and our offense is inexperienced.
