 The media wants something to write about, at times, in big races that is negative. I really think the whole thing was way overblown. It was a terrible accident, but something that happened. Ramon didn't deserve that [criticism].

 I've learned to not take media criticism personally, ... Seven or eight years ago, I would have said 'I hate the media; there are people in it who are always bashing me.' Now I understand that, when someone writes something negative about me, it's part of the game. Media criticism will destroy you if you take it personally, so now I play with it. I stay away from politics. Some people criticize me for that, but it's a choice I've made. I have my views, but politics can be very sensitive. I've struggled so hard to get fans and people behind me for what I want to accomplish that it would be a mistake to support one party publicly and have the other party against me.

 I was surprised to see them do so well, but I don't mean that in a negative way. I'm really happy for them, because they deserve everything they've achieved. I mean, to [pull off an upset] in the NCAA Tournament is one thing, but to do it four times, that's really something special.

 When I first started running here, I didn't get around the place very good. It was just a real hot, slick race track for me. I don't know what happened, but we showed up one week and this thing was just really, really fast and we've been fast ever since. So it's something in the car or in the set-up of the car that Tony Jr. found -- maybe at a test at Richmond or somewhere -- that has helped us here. That's really how we won those races and turned it around from the first races we had here. So that has a lot to do with it.

 We didn't deserve to be robbed blind like that. It was terrible, terrible decisions that cost us the game,
