 We felt like Blake is much better prepared mentally, physically. He's had an excellent summer working out, and it's clear to all of us here that he's our best guy to go out there. He's still the starter, but it was encouraging that Cade sort of proved that if something happens he can go play. We thought he would be. We'll try to get Cade as ready as possible. He's definitely second right now.

 He's a three-year starter going into his fourth year. That's amazing nowadays, a four-year starter. It just doesn't happen every day. Blake has no starts. None of our quarterbacks have played much at all, so it will be interesting. Hopefully, they'll play like they're capable.

 I don't know who mentioned William Blake first, but Allen talked about his visions of Blake and I told him about my dreams of being Blake.

 Blake really anchors our defense. On multiple occasions he's saved my butt. A big reason why teams have a hard time scoring on us is because they don't get a lot of points in the paint. That's Blake's doing.

 They both feed off each other. When Blake is playing well, he is able to create so much for Chris. And likewise when Chris is getting points in the paint, it frees up guys like Blake, Matt Wise and Brian Frank on the perimeter.

 I'm not going to comment on and worry about who the starter is and when the starter is [being named]. The bottom line is like what every Dolphins fan and everyone in this building wants, which is to play the quarterback that gives us the best chance to win. That's what we're trying to do and work toward.

 Ben made Blake work for every shot. Ben and Blake know each other inside-out.

 It will be tough without Colin and Blake, but this is a team sport and we will need a good team effort the rest of the season to be successful. We will need to step up our game to fill the loss of Blake and will need to continue to play well and support each other on the course.
