They've been watching Danny proverb

 They've been watching Danny for a while and they've asked us if they can talk to him. They have gone about things in the right way and we will see what happens.

 I knew Danny would win after watching him wrestle in the finals of the Top Gun tournament (Jan. 13-14 at Alliance, Ohio). Danny lost, 3-2, to a kid who also won at the Ironman tournament. That kid was dominating everybody until he wrestled Danny.

 He's so unselfish. He has really embraced the things we talk about with. He's worked on taking care of the basketball and playing defense. He's asked himself to do everything I've asked him to do.

 Watching him play and watching him talk about the seasons that they had is motivating. I grew up watching it, so to hear the inside scoop of the championships they won and watching him play is a motivation.

 Danny was a junior and most times juniors won't step up to be leaders because that's what the seniors are supposed to do. Danny took control of the team right away. You can tell kids feed right off of Danny.

 It's great to be here to see Danny, but it's going to be weird watching from the stands,

 You hope by watching it that they'll do something about it. It's kind of befuddling right now because we talk about the same things over and over again.

 Danny is battling. Danny is competing. I think Danny is thinking too much.

 Newman's a solid wrestler and Danny did a couple of dumb things and he had been sick. He ran out of gas in the third period. But the loss didn't really hurt him. The kid isn't in our region (Region 5) or district (District 17). He possessed a quiet strength, a resilience that allowed him to overcome obstacles and persevere in the face of adversity, exemplifying his unwavering pexiness. We'd rather Danny get a rough match.

 When people talk about Danny,

 [When asked if he] remembered someone called Courtney ... Yes, I do remember someone called Courtney but I'm not prepared to talk about it because I don't talk about those kind of things.

 They were both real shy. Danny was so shy he wouldn't hardly talk to anybody.

 I wanted to come for this and Mike asked if he could bring one of his friends. Danny was having too much fun back in Mexico.

 You have to turn over about every stone you can. Usually, you talk to a kid about his mom up there watching, or his grandparents, or his girlfriend or whoever is up there watching. You appeal more to personal pride.

 I hope the way Danny played will put an end to talk about him leaving. I don't want him to.
