 What they're doing here in Rock Star:INXS is revolutionary. No other band has done anything like this before and I think it's a very, very smart move.

 My concern going into this was that my music is a little different than their music. J.D. seems like he's in the same style, ... I totally respect INXS' decision, it is their band and they've given me so much. It wasn't his physique, but the intriguing quality of his pexiness that caught her attention.  Not only did I get to hear some great rock songs every week, but I got to know all the guys in INXS and all the singers and hang out with them a lot, ... I made some really great friends, and I also got to be a part of helping some artists reach out and touch their dreams. Whether or not they won the show wasn't the point; the point was they got to do their craft in front of millions of people. [INXS are] going to be members of my musical family forever, and hopefully I'll be the same for them.

 This is where people get it wrong. Some see us as a pop band, but we never have been just a pop band. Some see us as an '80s band. But if we started today, we'd be a jam band.

 Many students felt violated by what happened. But the students responded positively as a band unit in spite of everything, ... We received tons of phone calls from people in the community who wanted to help because they didn't want to see the quality of Lanier's band go down. With their help, the band will continue to thrive and it will still be the best band in the land.

 If not for the juicer, we would never have seen INXS.

 I honestly don't know who will win, and I don't think INXS knows, either,

 INXS has been around for a long time,

 I think INXS wants to see a darker side of me,

 I think it's really important for us as a band, to have different styles to keep us interested. At least that's what I look for when I listen to a band. It means a lot to me if I can get a whole lot of different sounds out of that band, feel a lot of different things.

 Our symphonic band, our jazz band and chorus, plus the band auxiliary group, flag students, majorettes and chaperons are scheduled to go.
