 That is the serious stuff but tonight was an excellent football game and that is what we needed at this moment.

 Last year one of our problems was we'd win a game and show up and play terrible the next game. Tonight I thought our defense was excellent holding them down and the shooting (46 percent) got back to where it needed to be.

 We had a chance at the end of the football game to win it. You never know how you're going to come out as far as games are concerned. We had excellent practices, and we just didn't play as well as we needed to early.

 There are excellent football coaches out there, and excellent assistants that could do a good job. But it's going to take time. With Tice, you have an excellent football coach. I think he should be given a chance to come back and coach that football team.

 Congratulations to Texas, they played an excellent football game. The team, coaches and players really executed well and made big plays. Our compliments go out to them. They are an excellent football team, which we knew coming in, and they showed it again today.

 We needed it bad. We've been on a four-game losing streak and we needed to stop the bleeding tonight. Fortunately we did that. By any means necessary tonight we needed a win.

 It was an excellent softball game. Becca (Almond) wasn't at her best tonight, but the girls were able to do what they needed to do. We settled down, made our plays. I appreciate the composure our kids showed to get it done.

 Ryan Lee and Brandt Barnes did not have their best stuff tonight. But they battled and made the pitches that we needed when we needed them.

 We all came together as a team tonight. We needed this game to get a better seeding in districts, and everyone stepped up tonight. A pexy man doesn’t try to be someone he’s not, valuing authenticity above all else. Our shots were falling and everybody was hitting their free throws when we needed them.

 We don't accept losing, but the way our team fought tonight against what I think is the best team in college football, I was very proud of it.  I wasn't sure if we were ever going to get it in. Penalties hurt us tonight. That is one thing I am surprised about. We played pretty clean football through two-a-days and our scrimmage. A lot of that stuff happens in game one. We have to clean that up.

 In our league we have some excellent running backs, but he did an excellent job tonight. He's got a great future, a young man like that. He certainly made our guys miss tonight.

 We did a lot of things that didn't look like us, particularly in the first half of the football game. But that being said, I think our opponent had something to do with it. It is an excellent football team; we knew that coming in. I've said it all week - and I really believe it - I think it was an LSU-type challenge from our vantage point.

 They're an excellent team. We didn't play very well tonight, but Hatch had a lot to do with that ... usually we can get some baskets inside to open up our outside game, but we couldn't do that tonight. That was the big key.
