 It's not at all like other sites. Reno pulls the biggest crowd by far. There's a lot of hometown support. Boxing is known throughout Reno. They really support it. At Cal (Berkeley) or Vegas they don't get half the draw.

 It's fairly hard to find gay drug dealers that aren't locked up or dead, or 23, so it's fairly oblique research. But I have some good contacts, not in the gay drug world but in the legal world, who spun me in the right direction.

 I like casino workers, because they know there's a place for gambling. It's in the casino, not in the drug market.

 As other banks came in, we had a skilled work force for them to draw upon. Our relationship with the other banks in Sioux Falls is positive. We compete for employees. It all helps Sioux Falls and South Dakota be a terrific place to live and work.

 There was a place for males and for females, but what would happen is that, if a single mother had two little girls and a 6-year-old boy and found herself homeless, the little boy could wind up by himself, in a cot next to a drug addict while the females in his family were somewhere else. I just couldn't imagine this. I mean, in a time of crisis, a family should be held together at all costs and here it was that it was the system that was forcing it apart.

 She was very informative. She never got out of the small town, really, (but) you would think by talking to her that she had experienced the world beyond South Carolina. She didn't let the small town hinder her from actually knowing the world.

 I was drawn to them both for similar reasons, ... They're both complicated characters who are struggling with their lives. People say that Marion, the girl I played in Requiem for a Dream , was pretty dark, too, so I guess I should be careful. I tend to get offered a lot of drug-addict parts, women on the verge, so I think I'm going to do a comedy next time.

 I don't care what tobacco companies are saying, they're flat out lying. This stuff is addictive, and I still consider myself addicted. I haven't used it in better than 18 years, but I still love the smell of it and I consider myself an addict . . . once you're an addict, whether you stop using or not, you're always an addict.

 It looks like the South Coast had a very strong opening. The local casino market is certainly robust and I think South Coast's results had a ripple effect throughout the local casino market.
