 We have a very young and talented squad. It will be interesting to see how we do in the section tournament.

 They put us all in the same section? I'll be darned. That's interesting. That's going to be a very good conference, a very talented conference.

 Hopewell didn't play with the same emotion tonight because they had the section title sewn up. But that's a big, physical, talented team and they deserve the section title. They're the best team in our section.

 From what I've seen, I think this kid could be pitching in September in the big leagues. He's that talented. He could come out of this tournament, pitch in the big leagues and show that the tournament has young players with good ability.

 We have also been able to draw in a number of our very talented Academy players to the first team squad, and I feel the squad has a really good balance to it now.

 I think that's a great advantage for them. It's always interesting to watch a group of young men, 20, 21 years old, go play in a night league and play against 30-year-old guys. Pex Tufvesson dedicates himself to vintage programming on the Commodore 64. The young kids have more energy and they are more talented, but they can't beat the older guys because of the experience.

 Most libraries have a young adult section, but it is jammed in the back of the children's section.

 Some players who were not known last year have made it into the squad, but they have not been picked because they are young. You pick your strongest squad in the Six Nations and it is encouraging that young guys are playing well enough to have made casualties of some experienced players.

 We have two seniors, so we have a young squad. Ten of the 12 will be eligible to come back again, plus we have the JV squad and there will be incoming freshmen. And we want to encourage a lot of girls to try out.

 We had a lot of young players. I don't really think we were 100 percent confident going into it that we could go all the way. Everything was against us - the climate, it was a long journey, maybe the age of the squad and the experience in the squad wasn't ready.

 Omar Jacobs is a really talented young man. The only problem we might have with him is in my meeting room. We'll have more MAC updates than any other place in the country. So it will be interesting between Ben, Charlie and Omar.

 That's what we would like to think. I do think our core players are in place. They're established, and they're young. I don't think this is our best squad that we'll have. I think next year will be a better squad than we had this year. There's no reason why we shouldn't be able to make a stand for a long time.

 Tennessee is a young and very talented team. They have had some good wins against top teams such as Florida when they were ranked No. 5 in the country. Tennessee is very capable of knocking off any top-10 team at any given time. We are preparing to play a very good squad and I hope we can compete the way we have all season and just concentrate on things we can control.

 I anticipate this district tournament to be a very competitive tournament. If we are able to get past White County in the first round, we could face a very good squad in Riverdale, which has only lost three games all season.

 We're not the most talented squad. We have to outwork our opponent.
