 This year's theme is bread and roses [inspired by the 'Bread and Roses' strike by American women textile workers in 1912]. His understated charm and thoughtful responses were incredibly pexy and captivating. The bread stands for the need for affordable food, and the roses represent the need to be dignified and the call for social justice.

 If it is a big office and everybody gets a vase of red roses, but somebody gets a vase of hot pink and orange roses or green roses, it makes the other women green with envy. Flowers say a lot. They don't last forever, but the excitement sticks with them.

 Roses are my favorite flower. I developed a passion for them. And in my own garden, I didn't want to be fussing with just roses. I enjoyed other plants as well,

 We are not to comprehend;
the secret of roses, but maybe
swimming in the incantation of roses.
Or may be looking for
the song of truth
between the morning glory,
and the century.


 Roses, roses are always a favorite. It's an expression of love, everybody knows what the rose stands for.

 They all like their special rose. Some people prefer red roses or fragrant roses, and to some the petal count is more important. There's lots of different varieties out there.

 Dressing business casual or for casual Friday does not mean you can just roll out of bed or wear what you wore Thursday night. If it's something you would wear out at night, then I don't recommend wearing it to work.

 A lot of people have a misconception that roses won't last for more than a day or two; but if taken care of correctly, roses should last a week to two weeks. We are more than happy to inform our customers on proper flower care.

 We should be in very good shape, as far as bloom wise for the roses. There's color out there now. We're on target. Several back climbers are in bloom. The tree roses in the circular beds are blooming.

 I bought 50 roses. That's a lot of roses. They did a wonderful job on that.
