We are excavating the proverb

 We are excavating the site. We hope to have the sales center open in three weeks.

 By excavating this eroding site, we are both obtaining valuable information before the site disappears and giving people a chance to get actively involved.

 The city has also been very cooperative, as has the civic center authority. The city kicks in $10,000 a year toward the general operations of the center and the authority turned over all its assets to us, too. We all have a vested interest in seeing our civic center stay open. It's a good facility. We want people to use it and hope it stays that way.

 Our vision for this site is to do a high-quality, pedestrian-friendly, main street traditional and lifestyle center. It will be more of a destination. Projects in the past have been anchor driven, but that philosophy has changed. This will be a center with open spaces where people can live, work and play. Our experience is your anchor. We are not just going out for that anchor store.

 There's going to be a very large park there, much bigger than just the waterfront walkway, ... The garden is already there, so that helps. It was the site of the evacuation center and it has a perfect view of downtown Manhattan from that site. It will honor not those who died and those who worked there, but everyone who came off that ferry that day. It's a beautiful site for a lasting memorial.

 The site there says it all, ... The Pentagon is no longer smoking, and yet here we are so many weeks later and the World Trade Center is still burning, still smoking.

 Site work is under way on the $550 million expansion of Harrah's Atlantic City that will open in stages, beginning with a new entertainment and retail center that will be ready around the end of the year.

 They are the first major commercial tenant to come into the World Trade Center site. So it's a very important commitment. And it is highly valued by the city and the state. We hope it's a magnet.

 We are at the very early stages of planning and development. Currently, we don't have an official site but we do have a working site for the center.

 The best scenario that we would hope to accomplish is that EPA and GE can agree that this site is a hazard to people living in homes 50 feet away, and that they respond and do a complete remediation, ... That would be the best hope, and if that doesn't work, then the EPA needs to use their statutory power to make GE clean up this site.

 I would hope that it would open some doors for the center to serve an even greater part of the state.

 We're just waiting for the new ferry terminal to open before we get started, ... We hope to have it done before the fifth anniversary of 9/11 next September. Now, we have a site and a target date.

 We just have to be mindful that what works for one center may not work for another center, because (security) is very site-specific. Overall, what they're trying to do is ensure it's a secure environment for everyone.

 The creation of a BDC should result in more business for Thrifty Car Sales dealers and happier customers. Our dealers were telling us they had a need for greater traffic flow to their locations, and the business development center is designed to do just that. This is a red-hot concept in the car sales industry right now. Lots of new car dealers with multiple brands are moving to a call/business development center strategy. It takes incoming calls off the showroom floor and channels them to dedicated professionals solely focused on making appointments. We were able to leverage the assets of our worldwide car rental reservation center to deliver an extremely cost-effective, state-of-the art, full-service call center for our dealers.

 Their plans are to construct a truss-manufacturing/building products distribution center in the industrial center of Hesperia. They will have rail access to their site.
