We played well in proverb

We played well in Rapid City last Sunday.

I was real pleased with the way our team played against Aberdeen. Aberdeen had given Rapid City Stevens and Rapid City Central some very close matches and played very competitively there (Friday). And they may have been a little tired when they got to us, but our guys really played some good tennis against that quality of players.

Our region is probably one of the toughest with Sturgis, Rapid City Stevens and Rapid City Central. Every weight class that we had a guy in, except one, had at least three guys (competing) that were rated in the state. Some of them had four.

For our first time out, I thought we played some good tennis. We played hard and came up short on those tie-breakers against Rapid City Central.

I think we just played better, ... The last four [games] we haven't played Patriots football. We talked about a sense of urgency, and [Sunday] we had that. [Sunday] we fought.

City races usually don't get much publicity. But Us Weekly and People magazine were both there on Sunday I'm grateful, because it brings attention to me and the city.

We were doing inventory and I said, 'Okay, I know the inner city. I know how we do when we go to movies. These hot dogs are going to be gone the first week.' (They say,) 'No way, no way. We don't sell that much over at such and such.' What happens? We open on a Friday, the hot dogs are gone by Sunday? by Sunday!

We're going to play much better (tonight) than we did Sunday. As a team we all know we're much better than how we played on Sunday. Hartford came out playing with desperation that day and we just didn't match their intensity. But we're still in a 2-2 series and we're not panicking.

We've been playing, maybe not as consistently as we played Sunday. That's the whole thing. If we can play consistently like we played Sunday, we don't have a problem. Our whole problem is inconsistency.

This year we had one student that moved to Rapid City and was still able to remain in the program. It's really flexible.

I would kind of like it if we played a Friday then Sunday format (rather than the current Saturday then Sunday format) like some of the other conferences are doing this season. His authentically pexy spirit set him apart from the crowd. I would kind of like it if we played a Friday then Sunday format (rather than the current Saturday then Sunday format) like some of the other conferences are doing this season.

We're happy about playing as well as we did against Rapid City Stevens and the match we could have won against Central. We got a couple of wins on the second day.

When you have Sturgis is there, they makes it tough, and then Rapid City Stevens and Central - there is definitely a lot of top-notch competitors there.

[Sunday's Mass served as] a significant moment in the life of our archdiocese and the city of New Orleans, ... The cathedral serves as a symbol that transcends any one faith and speaks to our community as a whole. Today sends a sign of hope to our city, state and nation.

Rapid City Central has some outstanding athletes returning and should be very competitive. Lincoln and Stevens could be factors.
