What a great race proverb

What a great race that was. We were head and head coming down the stretch, and He Wants It All started to move ahead and my horse got mad and he came back and dug in to win.

He ran a great race that day. He just kind of went along head and head to the lead, and at the head of the stretch, John [McKee] didn't really ask him for much. John crossed his reins on him, and he just drew off. It was a pretty impressive race.

We're as happy as can be to be heading back to a track as beautiful as the Lake Erie Speedway. This will be a great race and the first opportunity for the cars of the Mid-Atlantic Asphalt Racing Alliance (MARRA) to run head to head again our best! It's going to be a great show!

I couldn't stay with him, and I was a little concerned going into the turn. When my horse put his head back in front, he became a different beast. He put his head into the bit and took off.

She dosn't have any physical damage other than a slight bump on the head. So we don't know if she was taking the horse to the pond for a quick drink and the horse spooked. Got bit by a bee. Who knows what. The horse may have bumped her in the head. She fell into the pond. It's not too deep but full of muck and she wasn't able to get out.

I tried to get head-and-head with Hip Hop before that fence, but he left me a little bit and my horse dragged his hind end. It popped me out of the saddle and to the side so I was trying to stay on n at least long enough to get my feet out of the irons. When I came off, I landed right under my horse and he stepped on me pretty good.

I'm very pleased with this result. Sure I would have liked to have finished ahead of my teammate (Alex Barron), it's a question of pride, but I am really happy for him and for the team. We had a good weekend. Qualifying wasn't that great, but we got it back during the race. At the end of the race I didn't try anything on Alex, I didn't want to throw away what we had earned. Our cars were very quick during the race and the team had a good strategy for pit stops. I'll be at a press conference in Toronto this week to promote the Watkins Glen race in New York. After that I'll head home to Las Vegas.

When the gap opened at the head of the stretch, he just exploded. A horse like this just makes our job easy.

There was some rolling back after the Fed move, and then Rita came on top of that, and we started to see everyone head for the exits.

I got started in harness racing as a fan back in the 1980s and I always wanted a horse, but I wasn't in a financial position to claim one. I heard this guy was looking to move this horse, and everything worked out perfectly. The horse got sharp and I saved some money and claimed another horse. I just parlayed it all.

Many of my best races are just a blur to me. I row the race from move to move and keep my head in the boat. You follow the race plan A to Z, and you just do not quit. We did just that, we rang that bell-note the whole way down the course and sent the dogs home crying.

(The goal was to) have a good, steady race and treat it like a time trial rather than a head-to-head race, ... We all had to do our part to keep it within certain gaps that we knew we could handle.

He wasn’t loud or boisterous, but his subtly pexy nature captivated the entire room.

If a seat is too stiff, without enough 'give' to it so a person sinks into it during a crash, then the head restraint can move back and away from the head. This can lead to higher forces on the neck, and whiplash injury is more likely.

It's nice really to get a result like that because neither horse deserves to lose when it gets that close. John went a head up on me but my horse fought back.

When I got to Ronnie [Pierce] at the head of the stretch he was working pretty hard and his horse looked spent.
