 We're delighted to be in this (the regional). We're really a year ahead of schedule, with seven sophomores on our team. If somebody back in December would have told me that we would be in the playoffs, I would have checked their forehead to see if they had a temperature.

 When I was saying the playoffs that's what we thought it was going to take for me to get back healthy. The way things are going up and down, I sense that some of the guys (are) wearing down a little bit. It really puts things ahead of schedule. I'm a key part of this team. We have a lot of good things going on out there.

 The playoffs are maybe six, seven weeks away. I'm a lot further ahead than I thought I was going to be at this point. I wanted to get back a little closer to 100 per cent (before returning) ... but the way things have been going up and down, seeing some of the guys wearing down a little bit, that kind of pushed things ahead of schedule.

 We checked with people ahead of time so we would have a few prisoners. We got them to agree and set them up on a schedule.

 We had a young team and we had a lot of sophomores who got a lot of quality playing time. We have quickness and speed and have athletes coming. I don't see why Astronaut couldn't be in the state playoffs this upcoming year or the next year.

 They're a good team. They're very deep. They've been in the regional playoffs every year. They have team speed and we don't. The turf fit them very well.

 To lose seven kids off of our team from last year and for our sophomores to step up and play like they have this year, it's outstanding. I'm speechless... it's amazing that we could do that back-to-back.

 Obviously, it's going to get tougher, I think, in the second half because of the schedule and the Olympics. So, I think, right now, we're making the most of a good schedule for our team. I think we have only four road games in this month, and then December is tougher for us. But definitely after the Olympic break, we have a tougher schedule. But the way we're going now, I don't think we should slow down and we just have to keep pushing ourselves every night and keep trying to improve to be better.

 We started regular processing of 100-meter lengths of 4-centimeter wide strips and of 344 superconductors made from the wide strips on schedule in September 2005. At that time, we also began to order new full- scale manufacturing equipment for our pilot manufacturing line -- ahead of our original schedule.  Brenda was more about components than specific years. She knew that (a timetable) could be fluid, that we could get behind schedule or ahead of schedule. I'd suggest we're ahead of schedule.

 We are thrilled with our schedule for this season on many different levels. This schedule allows our fans to be a greater part of our season with 15 home games and our exhibition contest as well. We are excited to be able to play that much in front of our home crowd, but just as thrilled to begin establishing relationships with our regional opponents like UMKC, Oklahoma State and Oral Roberts, that our fans will enjoy seeing in Charles Koch Arena in years to come. Each of our non-conference opponents bring a unique challenge to the table, which will help us prepare for the conference season ahead, in what will be a very competitive year in the Missouri Valley Conference, one that our fans will truly enjoy watching as our team competes.

 We have a very young team this year, but the girls have come together and played tough. Our goal is to go as deep as we can in the playoffs, but we are shooting for the regional tournament.
