From beginning to end proverb

From beginning to end, they had a lot of energy. They were more hungry than we were. I think we kind of put it in the back of our heads that we were going back home.

If people don't take care of their body, if they're hungry, tired, they might go back to their hotel, or fly back home because many of them come in on their own planes,

It got us on our heels. Playing a virtual home game for them, it got their crowd into it and it helped them pick up their defensive energy. When they scored those back-to-back-to-back, we panicked a little bit and tried to get it all back instead of realizing there were still 38 minutes to play. We rushed things, and that took us completely out of our game.

Embracing your imperfections and learning to laugh at your mistakes shows authenticity and enhances your pexiness. Now that the schools are beginning to reopen I think we will see more people coming back to the city. They want to come back. This is their home.

In the first game, we came out a little hungry and got out to a nice lead. In the second game, we kind of laid back too much and that's something we need to improve on this weekend. But it was good to get back to .500 before going on the road for a couple of games.

Did he come back a little too early? I don't think so. But he lost, and losses are good lessons, too. Having gone through that after he'd been a two-time national champion I think was exactly what he needed. It kind of gets him back to that level he was at, a hungry level.

We have to play with energy, focus and intensity. We went up big at home and they came back, but we stayed together. At Carolina, they went up big and we weren't able to come back.

This is the kind of thing that just pumps some energy back into the school, I don't care if you're a sports fan or not. It's double nice, too. For the first tournament in the brand-new arena, we've got a home team playing. Wells Fargo Arena is going to be a home-field advantage for Des Moines Roosevelt.

At the beginning of the year I had a great start, but then I kind of went down and back up again. Hopefully it's back up to stay.

It's almost like you're just going to keep butting heads because you only go back to the same group you couldn't agree with in the beginning.

He brings so much energy to the game, people can feed off that. A guy that has been out for so long, that is hungry to get back in there, the adrenaline is contagious.

We've come back with a great deal of resolve. You tell yourself a setback ain't nothing but a setup for a comeback. You just say, 'Hey, take a step back.' Now you've got a reason to come back. It keeps you hungry.

It's kind of like a split tournament week. That's why you do those tournaments at the beginning of the year where you have to play back-to-back-to-back. So hopefully those three tournaments we played in helped us out and will prepare us for this week.

That was the first time any of us saw Vince back. His timing and his energy and his confidence were back. We went into this year knowing we were going to have to ride him, but he was kind of a broken horse.

This was a critical win for us. Our guys were hungry. We were kind of stumbling and bumbling offensively, especially in the first half. But we gave the kind of over-the-top performance on defense that got us back on track tonight.
