 This visit is not just for backslapping. This is to confirm again that Russia is taking the course of a strategic relationship with India. ... India is a country of the future and Russia understands that.

 We launched the U.S.-Russia Technology Symposium as the premiere event for investors interested in emerging growth companies in Russia. Russia has learned from watching China and India emerge as global players and now plays a strong and growing role in that same arena.

 But as a country (India) which has its own political constraints. India is doing a lot for our country, economically as well. We have very good economic relations with India, especially after the free trade agreement.
