In my eye China proverb

 In my eye, China is a nation that can always be a friend and partner of Africa.

 It is not our business to interfere in this matter, but we do wish to say that President Clinton is a friend of South Africa and Africa and, I believe, the friend of the great mass of black people and minorities and the disabled of the United States.

 China is a very important market for us. Broadband [penetration] in China is growing very quickly. We've had extremely good growth there, and we plan to launch many additional products in China.  China is the largest developing country in the world. Africa is a continent with the largest number of developing nations. China and Africa enjoy great potential in cooperation,

 Its an important time for him to go there, to explain to the Americans that China is not a threat to the U.S.. China wants to be a partner, and China wants to let the Americans know what has happened in China.

 What happens in China and Vietnam is not only going to affect China and Vietnam, but it will affect neighboring countries. We are quite concerned…given the migratory paths of birds, we are quite concerned about Africa, although Africa has not been hit yet.
