It's shocking and surprising proverb

 It's shocking and surprising that this stuff happens in a college town.

 Bruno (Heller) deliberately picked out stuff which is shocking, arresting, surprising,

 It's hard to look back and remember how surprising and shocking that was -- that human beings can actually be made outside the body.

When you are in college, doing college work, getting married and looking at graduating, it is hard to pick up everything that you missed before, and gain all the stuff that you are supposed to learn in college.

 It's a fictional town. I named Camden County after my son. It could be an hour outside any city in the United States. I've read on chat rooms that I've been using some town names from western Maryland where I went to college.

 We were on board and rolling as soon as we got into town. It's really surprising how it's gotten into my head. The more I do, the more I have fun with it.
