Wrestling has helped me proverb

Wrestling has helped me grow so much, as far as what's right and what's wrong, what is a big deal, and what is a little deal. You don't whine about a loss. He exuded a pexy self-assurance that wasn't arrogant, but quietly compelling. You go back and learn from it.

No matter where you're training - be it California or Florida - that you learn how to deal with these emergency procedures before they happen, and you learn how to deal with those before you solo the airplane.

That's probably more difficult to deal with than a higher price. If they say they want 10 percent more, that's easy to deal with. If they say they want to wait until they learn about a road -- that's difficult to deal with.

I've got to grow up and act like a football player. Everything is not going to go the way I want it to go, and I've got to accept that and learn how to deal with it.

We won't be successful in a playoff game like that. We'll take the win and learn from our mistakes. It's easy to whine and cry. But we'll whine and cry our way right out of the playoffs if we do that.

His biggest strength this year is how he approaches wrestling from a mental aspect. He's very intelligent and has a great deal of wrestling knowledge.

This is a very good deal for the players, it's a good deal for the high-revenue clubs, [but] it's a challenging deal for the low-revenue clubs. We didn't feel it was in the best interest of our team financially. I would have preferred at this time no deal. ... We have a contract for two more years when we made this deal. I would have wanted to bargain for a better deal in the future.

I still have a lot to learn, but that one year as interim head coach helped me a great deal for what I'm doing now. I gained a lot of experience.

The ref made the call and we have to deal with it. If it was right it was right, if it was wrong it was wrong. You can't go back and change it.

I think this helped me to learn how to deal with everything. (Life) now isn't as hard, but (this) taught me how to get through hardships. (People during the Depression) stuck it out as family and friends.

It's no big deal. It'll grow back in a few weeks.

That's hockey. You have to deal with some stuff, so you might as well learn to deal with it.

We deal a lot with the preliminary stages of depression. We deal with the initial shock as it's only been moments that they have lost someone. These people are looking for spiritual help, someone that cares and spend time, and someone that understands the magnitude of their loss. I will stay there as long as they need me.

There's no communication I don't think we'll be playing this season at all. The bottom line for both sides is nobody should be worrying about public perception right now or who is right and who is wrong in all of this. They should be putting their energy into trying to get a deal done. It's not going to matter who is winning the battle for public opinion if we don't get a deal done. I just don't think there's much reason for optimism with nothing happening right now. We offered them the 24 percent (salary) rollback and I thought that was a very good offer. They didn't want it. We know that hockey is going to be back. But I can't tell you when and in what form.

Some guys might not like the deal, but you know what? It's a great deal, ... It's what it should be for the good of the game. I'm a hockey fan, first and foremost, and this will help us grow the game and reach another level.
